Understand your chatbot statistics

Conversations, leads, conversion rate, satisfaction, AI analysis of questions and monthly report: how to read your chatbot statistics.

The Statistics page shows you what your chatbots bring you: how many visitors talk to them, how many become leads, and what they ask. It is also the best place to find out what to improve.

Open it from the menu, or go straight here.

Choose the period and the chatbot

At the top right:

  • choose the period: 7 days, 30 days (default) or 90 days;
  • if you have several chatbots, choose All chatbots or one chatbot.

Every figure on the page updates to match your choice.

The 4 key indicators

  • Conversations: the number of conversations started during the period.
  • Leads: the number of complete leads captured. If some visitors only gave part of the requested information, the "+ 2 incomplete lead(s)" note counts them separately.
  • Conversion rate: the share of conversations that end with a complete lead (leads / conversations). It's the most useful indicator to measure how well your chatbot performs.
  • Satisfaction: the share of Good ratings among the ratings visitors leave at the end of a chat. The number of ratings is shown just below.

Next to each indicator, an arrow compares the chosen period with the previous period of the same length: as a percentage for conversations and leads, in points for rates.

If you see "No conversations in this period", check that your chatbot's code is installed on your website. See Install the chatbot.

Charts and per-chatbot table

  • Conversations and leads per day: spot your busy days and the effect of your campaigns.
  • Activity by hour: conversations by time of day, in your time zone, with the peak hour. Useful to know when to call your leads back.
  • By chatbot: conversations, leads and conversion rate for each of your chatbots.

The AI analysis of your visitors' questions

The What your visitors ask block analyses the questions asked to your chatbot during the chosen period:

  1. Click Analyse the questions.
  2. Wait a few seconds while the analysis runs.
  3. Read the two lists you get.
  • Most frequent topics: up to 6 topics, with their estimated share and an example question.
  • Questions without a good answer: up to 8 questions the chatbot couldn't answer, with how many times they were asked and a suggestion of what to add.

The analysis covers the recent questions of the period (up to 250) and needs at least 5 questions. It is written in your dashboard language and refreshed once a day.

Treat each "question without a good answer" as a task: add the missing information to your instructions or your knowledge base, then run the analysis again the next day.

The monthly report by email

At the start of each month, you receive a "Your … report" email summarising the previous month:

  • Conversations;
  • Leads captured;
  • Replies used (with your monthly limit if your plan has one).

It is sent while your subscription or trial is active and you have at least one chatbot, in your dashboard language. To stop receiving it, turn off Monthly report in Settings > Notifications, or click Unsubscribe from these emails at the bottom of the email. You can turn it back on in the same place. Emails about your account and payments are still sent.
