Refund policy

Every new account gets a 7-day free trial, with no card required. Nothing is charged at the end of the trial: you only pay if you choose a plan.

If ScanChat AI is not right for you, you can ask for a full refund of the first payment of your subscription, monthly or yearly, within 14 days of that payment, with no questions asked.

• The guarantee applies to the first payment of a subscription, once per customer.
• After the refund, the subscription ends immediately and your chatbots stop answering. Your data is kept for 90 days, as set out in section 13 of the Terms of Service.

Outside the 14-day guarantee, any period that has started is due. The following are not refundable:

• subscription renewals (monthly or yearly);
• amounts paid when changing plans;
• extra reply packs, whether used or not.

The refund cases provided for in the Terms of Service still apply: substantial reduction of features, unavailability of the Service for more than 72 hours attributable to the Provider, discontinuation of the Service and force majeure (sections 20, 23 and 24).

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page of your customer area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid: you keep access until then and no renewal is charged afterwards.

Write to us from the Support page of your customer area ("Billing and plan" category) or at info@scan-chat.ai, from your account's email address.

We handle requests within 5 business days. The refund is made to the payment method used; depending on your bank, it appears on your account within 5 to 10 days. A credit note matching the invoice is issued.

When your order is processed by our online reseller Paddle.com, Paddle is the Merchant of Record for the order. Refunds are then issued by Paddle, in line with this policy.
