Payment and invoices

You pay for your ScanChat AI subscription from the Billing page of your dashboard, by card or with PayPal. After every card payment, your invoice is emailed to you and stays available as a PDF download.

Pay for your subscription by card

1. Open Billing and choose Monthly or Yearly.
2. Click Get Started under the plan you want. The Select Payment Method window opens.
3. Click Pay with Card.
4. Fill in your Billing details (see below), then click Continue to payment.
5. You're redirected to a secure payment page. Enter your card and confirm.
6. You're automatically brought back to the Billing page. After a few seconds, the Payment Successful! message confirms your plan is active.

Your card number is entered only on the secure payment page: ScanChat AI never sees or stores it. The card is then charged automatically at each renewal (every month or every year, depending on your billing option).

Your billing details

These details appear on your invoice:

• Country (required);
• Company name and Company number (registration or VAT number);
• Address and City (required);
• Postal code.

Depending on the country you choose, the company name and number become required: an asterisk next to the field tells you so. Your details are saved and pre-filled for your next payments.

Pay with PayPal

In the same window, below or with PayPal, click the PayPal button and follow the steps. Once the payment is approved, you're brought back to the Billing page and your plan is active.

Buying extra replies (a pack of 250 replies, from the Usage page) is also paid with PayPal.

Download your invoices

1. Open Billing.
2. Click My invoices at the top of the page, or scroll down to the section with the same name.
3. Each line shows the type (ScanChat AI subscription, Subscription renewal or Plan change (prorated)), the date and the amount.
4. Click PDF to download the invoice.

The My invoices section appears after your first card payment. It lists the invoices for your card payments and their renewals. If you paid with PayPal and need an invoice, email us at info@scan-chat.ai.

Update your card

If you pay by card, the Payment method section of the Billing page shows your saved card, for example Saved card: •••• 1234 (exp. 08/27).

1. Click Update my card.
2. Enter the new card number, its expiry date, its security code (CVV) and, for Israeli cards only, your ID number.
3. Click Save card. The Your card has been updated. message confirms it.

Nothing is charged at that point: the new card is used for the next payments of your subscription, including a plan change.

If a payment fails

When subscribing: if the Payment Failed message appears, check your card and try again from the Billing page. If your card was charged but your plan isn't active, contact us at info@scan-chat.ai with the date and amount.

At renewal: if your card can't be charged, we retry automatically over the following days. Your chatbot stays active during these retries, and you receive a "Problem with your subscription payment" email. If your card expired or changed, click Update my card on the Billing page (see above): the next attempts will use the new card.

If every retry fails, the subscription ends and the chatbot stops answering. Your settings and leads are kept: just subscribe again.
